Within the complex and unique expansion project of the Juliana Canal in South Limburg, carried out by Van den Herik Sliedrecht as the main contractor on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat, our team plays a vital role in the progress of the work. To ensure that the deepening and widening of the canal can continue without interruptions during the day, our drivers primarily work at night to refuel all equipment – from cranes to dumpers – and supply AdBlue® on time.
Along a 4 km stretch and at depots spread across 18 km around the canal, our drivers use two 25,000-liter buffer trailers, a 10,000-liter AdBlue tank as their own mobile loading depot, and a 4×4 tanker.
Thanks to the continuous support of these operations, the project can proceed without delay, bringing improved navigation access for the region one step closer.
